Happy to be.....

CANADIAN! I'm a kanuck, a hoser, an occasional beer drinking, opinionated, openminded, peace loving native of this land. And I am proud to have been born here. Our country is highly regarded around the world - our people have made great discoveries, have fought wars, have made peace, have stood up for impoverished countries. We have a beautiful landscape. From West to East, North to South, we have everything from tundra, to mountains, plains, cities and ocean. And our people are as diverse as the landscape. To all, I wish you a Happy Canada Day! Bon Anniversaire! C'est une celebration! So take a minute to understand what makes this country as special as it is. Let's be proud eh and continue to make this the best country in the world in which to live.

It's amazing

It really is...I'm trying not to let it bother me. People usually regard me as a very loyal, funny, patient, understanding and loving. Some of my friends I have known for years, and I always enjoy making new ones. As a manager, over the years, I have coached many on career planning, personal issues etc. I have been a mentor to a few who I am still in touch with today. This makes me feel good. I have helped others and I've formed some great friendships. What bugs me is the fact that there is one person who I have tried with all my heart to support, to motivate, to listen to, to understand and love, however it seems that it all goes pretty much unappreciated. I really can't believe it...it urks me. Why is it so? And people who have not really been there, didn't take too much notice or didn't really try to understand, are held in higher regard? It doesn't make sense. Anyone have the missing piece to the puzzle?

Garageband of the Mind

It was actually pretty amazing....as I was in bed last night in that phase just before drifting off to sleep, my mind starting creating music. And not just one melody or song, but several...I could hear the sound of it in my head. There were bridges and choruses...if I had had a recorder, I probably would have gotten up and tried to sing the tunes, to capture them.
But alas, today, everything is forgotten. Hopefully my mind symphony will be rehearsing again soon.

Namaste

I have just started Yoga for absolute beginners. Finally! It has been something I have wanted to try for so long. Into the second week and I'm loving it. It is definately a work out, an escape for the mind and the relaxation at the end is a great way to finish class. I now understand why so many people turn to yoga as a daily routine in their lives. I am already looking forward to the second level workshop! Namaste.
