When Opportunity knocks, it's not polite to shut the door. Or as I did yesterday, slam the door right in Opportunity's face.Crude remarks, jealousy, impatience and a lack of emotional control got in the way - big time. It's hard to sometimes just "go with the flow" and sing "que sera, sera, whatever will be, will be, the future's not ours to see...". You just have to let fate take its course and truly believe that what is meant to be, will happen. However, by pushing things, by lashing out, by trying too hard - the odds turn against you and Opportunity decides to walk away. I think I'll just take the passenger seat for now. Put Opportunity on cruise control, sit back and enjoy the ride. No matter how long it takes, and no matter what destination I reach in the end - it's all about the journey - the experiences, the people, the observations and the lessons. And of course, a happy ending would always be welcomed.
